"When Archer was 6 weeks old I reached out to Mel for some advice around forming good habits for him as a newborn that would help him as he got older. Mel was amazing at giving me a complete plan. Including how to set his room for the perfect sleep environment, wake times and how to help him settle without any props. I recommend Mel to all my friends that are mums - she’s been a lifesaver for our family!"

what clients are saying

Ellen, Mum of Archer 12 months

"This little boy slept 12 hours last night. We honestly were lost with what to do with his sleep and it was taking a toll on all of us. Thankfully, Mel was recommended to me and I contacted her last week. She got a plan to me within days, and we are on day 4 and all I can say is WOW. The last 3 nights Jimmy’s sleep has been the best it’s ever been, and I cannot thank Mel enough for her guidance and support."

what clients are saying

Holly, Mum of Jimmy 11 months

"Thanks to Mel for helping us get a head start with our daughter from 5 weeks of age. We wanted to start getting a good sleeping routine with options that worked for our busy working lives. Her suggestions helped us educate ourselves for the future and be able to continue to implement the schedule. With being able to contact her whenever for support that really helped with any questions I had. "

what clients are saying

Sarah, Mum of Malia 5 weeks old

"Thank you so much for all of your support and putting together the plan. It has really helped and saved our sanity! We can't thank you enough."

what clients are saying

Amanda, Mum of Grace 2 years old

"Mel is incredible! She has saved our sanity and my son’s sleep! She is incredibly friendly, always supportive and helped us through a difficult sleep transition without any stress and almost no tears (from us or our baby). Mel is super responsive and incredibly supportive, and even when we were struggling adjusting to the new routine, she gave us the tools, advice and reassurance we needed to come out the other side with a baby who now sleeps for more than 40 minutes at a time, and can self and re-settle with no real effort or involvement from his parents. Thank you, thank you, thank you Mel! We will never be able to thank you enough for what you’ve done for us and for Eli."

what clients are saying

Sara – Jane, Mum of Eli 6 months old

"We highly recommend Mel. I never thought it would be possible to put my baby to bed awake and have him fall asleep happily on his own. With Mel's help and advise we achieved this within 3 days. Mel helped us achieve less night wakings, predictable and longer day naps and we managed to break the feed to sleep association. Thanks Mel!"

frequently asked questions

How long will it take until my baby is sleeping better? What happens if it doesn’t work?

got questions?

I have many different settling techniques that I recommend. This is all dependent on your child’s temperament and what aligns with you as a family. What works well for one family may not be the best fit for yours, this is why, when you purchase one of my sleep packages I get you to fill in a comprehensive questionnaire.

What settling methods do you use? Do you only suggest cry it out?

Do I work with twins and siblings?

Yes, I do, just let me know when filling out the email enquiry form, that you have twins or wish to sleep train siblings at the same time. Prices advertised are for one child.

If your baby has been diagnosed with a medical condition, then I will need clearance from a GP or their specialist before starting any sleep training. If your baby becomes unwell during your 2 weeks of support, then I am happy to pause training until they are well enough (within reason).

frequently asked questions

What happens if my baby is sick?

got questions?

Newborns have immature sleep biorhythms which are still developing, so I don’t recommend sleep training them. However, I still do work with newborns. I will look at all aspects of newborn sleep such as their sleep environment, props, age-appropriate awake time, feeds and growth, and teach you how to use an appropriate settling technique to start getting improvement in their sleep. It's great to start implementing great sleep foundations at a young age to set your baby up for some great sleep success as they get older.

Do you sleep train newborns?

Will my baby cry?

When you are teaching your baby a new way of falling asleep just remember that you are changing the way they are accustomed to falling asleep, so you should still expect some crying. It is important to remember that crying is a form of communication, and your baby will be communicating to you that they are unhappy and confused about the change.
