I am passionate about equipping families with knowledge and tools to help their little ones get the sleep they deserve. My holistic approach educates parents on evidence-based science behind sleep, alongside gentle sleep methods and settling techniques. This provides families with a renewed sense of understanding and confidence to achieve better sleep. As each situation is unique, I take the time to get to know the child, family and sleep environment first. A tailored sleep plan is created and continued support is provided to help each family successfully implement it.
Motherhood led me on the journey of becoming a certified sleep consultant. With my first child, I was anxious and stressed around her sleep. She was a cat napper during the day and then hours of my night were spent trying to get her back to sleep. With the arrival of my second baby, I knew that I didn’t want to have the same experience (while also knowing that my time would be more limited with a toddler to look after!).
I spent time educating myself on the science of sleep and as a result, I was really in tune with my second baby and her sleep needs. This positive experience prompted me to complete my sleep certificate, so that I could help other parents achieve better sleep for their little ones (and themselves).
An empathetic and nurturing approach ensures that I take the time to understand the needs and goals of each family I work with.
